It's here; it's time! Don't all go run screaming for the emergency exit at the same time.
So to anyone who may have traveled this way, don't go stampeding for the door yet. Let me scare you off first.
I'm Megan. I'm 24 years old, and trust me, I feel every one of those years (and then some).

What can I say about myself without scaring you off before you even settled in?
I'm the mother to my two, absolutely beautiful boys: J, 3 and A, 8 months. I love being a mother, despite the challenges it presents (and trust me, it presents them frequently-- see post re: stinkybuttface). Being a parent is the polar opposite of what I thought it would be and I love it even more than I could have ever imagined.
Speaking of love, Big J, my husband, and I have been together for 8 years come April 17. It's been a long, hard 8 years, but I wouldn't trade it for the world and every day, I love him more. Amazing, isn't it? To look at someone and just imagine them old and gray and senile but still sitting next to you in a rocker.
I'm not going to lie-- being a mother has brought along this amazing identity crisis for me. In becoming a mother, I seemed to have lost the Megan spark that I once had, but it's still in there and I do channel it from time to time. It's just that my boys are only young once and I want them to have the absolute best life they could. Feel free to tell me to shut up if I ever ramble about them too much. I promise I won't be offended.
Other than full time parenting, I juggle three part time jobs and it's busy and hectic, but they are all fulfilling in their own way. I love reading, dancing, being crazy, baking, cooking, and so many other things I don't even know yet.
So, hopefully I didn't scare you off-- and you introduce yourself. Don't forget to go check out the party and win some awesome prizes-- some of my favorites include the awesome custom country apron from Katie and I love the Sassy Frass blog design, and I think I would pass out with joy if I won a Kitchen Aid Standing Mixer! Check 'em out.
